Jose Mourinho Dials Back Expectations for Next Coaching Job

The Portuguese, who should not make OM supporters dream, any more than Zinédine Zidane, according to a statement from Daniel Riolo dating from last February, spoke in the Telegraph about his next experience. The former coach of Real Madrid, Inter and Manchester United seems to have watered his wine in relation to his past ambitions, by now claiming to be able to take on a team which is not immediately capable of winning a title :

“My job is to try to transform clubs into clubs made to win, or to achieve goals. (…) I want to be the one who works with the team, focusing on player development, on match preparation. Unfortunately, I have had situations where I had to be much more than that. (…) The only thing I want is for the goals and objectives to be set fairly by everyone. I can’t go to a club where, because of my history, the objective is to win the title. What I’m saying is that people should look at me the way other people look at me. What is important for me is that the club has objectives and that I can say that I am ready to fight for them. And let them be at least realistic”.

The Special One does not seem to have any keys currently on the market, while OM are looking for a coach for next season.
