Jannik Sinner is in the quarter-finals of Monte Carlo after his win against Jan-Lennard Struff.

Only at the beginning of the match did it appear that Jan-Lennard Struff could win something against the world number two today. After the German number two had to accept the loss of serve to 1:2, the direct rebreak was successful.

But this should also be the last flaw for Jannik Sinner in this match, which should not give his opponent any further opportunities. Jan-Lennard Struff, on the other hand, repeatedly came under pressure and had to fend off break points in almost every service game.

In the second set, the South Tyrolean had six chances, two of which led to success. Jan-Lennard Struff fell significantly behind and was unable to develop any hopes of a comeback.

Sinner now against Rune or Dimitrov

After 78 minutes of play, a deserved victory was certain. This leads Jannik Sinner to a duel against Grigor Dimitrov or Holger Rune in the quarterfinals. If Dimitorv wins the game, the Miami final will be replayed. Sinner won this clearly 6:3, 6:1.
