Ivorian Para Badminton Champion Prisca Trey Douayra Honored by Minister Silas Metch

Abidjan (AIP) – The Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Sports and Living Environment, Adjé Silas Metch, received in audience at his office in Abidjan-Plateau, Thursday April 4, 2024, the African champion and vice -para badminton world champion, Prisca Trey Douayra, who came to present her medals.

The Ivorian athlete won five medals (one gold, two silver and two bronze) in 2021 and 2022 in Uganda.

Happy with this visit, the Minister Delegate, Silas Metch congratulated Trey Douayra Prisca for his good performances and encouraged him for the rest of his career to fly the colors of Côte d’Ivoire.

Furthermore, Mr. Metch hoped that the leaders of the Ivorian para badminton federation would submit their specifications to the Ministry of Sports and Living Environment for better support for their athletes.
