There are two gold medals won by Italy at the World Triathlon Para Cup Yenisehir, in Türkiye. In the PTS2 category, first place went to Veronica Yoko Plebani, who triumphed thanks to a time of 1:23:19, preceding the Spanish Rakel Mateo Uriarte (1:42:29).
In the women’s PTVI, success for Francesca Tarantello and her guide Silvia Visaggi, first with a time of 01:09:03. Tarantello preceded the French Annouck Curzillat (01:09:11) and Kseniia Vybornykh, of the Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN), who clocked 01:13:38 on the podium.
Unfavorable day for the other Italians in the race with Giuseppe Romele who was disqualified for cutting the course and Manuel Lama, competing together with Daniel Hofer, who got a puncture.
