In Essen Nespoli, Musolesi, Paoli, Andreoli, Boari and Rebagliati.ROME (ITALPRESS) – The German town of Essen is ready to host a crucial double event for the national archery team on the road to the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games : the continental qualifying tournament (5 and 6 May) and the European Championships (8 to 12 May). In the pre-Olympic, three nation cards per gender will be assigned to the best-placed NOC athletes who have not yet qualified.
Italy, therefore, will only be at the start in the men’s field, already being able to count on a female quota, the one won by Chiara Rebagliati thanks to the bronze won at the European Games in Krakow 2023. The continental event, however, in addition to the assignment of the medals, will give the ticket to the French capital to the best teams not yet qualified (one male and one female), with three Olympic cards attached to be used in the respective individual events.
