Italian Archer Mauro Nespoli Wins Two Gold Medals at Spring Arrows Tournament in Antalya

ANTALYA – It was a memorable day for Italian archery, with the archer from Voghera Mauro Nespoli which he conquered two gold medals at the Spring Arrows Tournament in Antalya.

In the men’s team competition, Nespoli was part of the trio composed of Matteo Borsani e Federico Musolesi. In the final, the Azzurri beat Great Britain with a clear 6-2, confirming themselves as one of the most competitive teams in the world.

Shortly afterwards, Nespoli returned to the field for the mixed team race, paired with Chiara Reward yourself. The match against Spain was closer, but Italy prevailed at the end of an exciting play-off (5-4, 20-16).

With these two victories, Nespoli confirms himself as one of the fittest archers of the moment. The 36-year-old from Voghera, already Olympic team champion in 2012, has shown that he is still capable of competing at the highest level.
