Jakarta (ANTARA) – Inter Milan needs six more points to lock up the Italian League title this season after being held to a 2-2 draw by Cagliari in Week 32 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Milan, Monday morning WIB.
In the next two matches, Inter Milan will face tough matches against AC Milan and Torino.
Currently Inter Milan is in first place in the Italian League standings with 83 points from 32 matches, 14 points away from AC Milan in second place.
In the match against Cagliari, Inter Milan took the lead twice through Marcus Thuram and Hakan Calhanoglu, but the visitors were able to equalize through Eldor Shomurodov and Nicolas Viola.
Meanwhile, Inter’s closest competitor, AC Milan, also experienced failure to get full points after drawing 3-3 against Sassuolo at the Citta del Tricolore Stadium, Reggio Emilia, Sunday.
Currently the Rossoneri are in second place in the Italian League standings with a score of 69 points from 32 matches.
