Instituto Continues Strong Push Towards National Basketball League Playoffs

Instituto continues its march towards the playoffs of the National Basketball League. It is the next goal of a team armed to play the decisive part. La Gloria goes and enjoys playing the big events, the important matches.

Without scoring three-pointers, Instituto forced the attack and went 4’40 without scoring, until Saiz broke the drought, after capturing a rebound in attack. After 13 missed three-point shots, Nicola Pomoli made three in a row and Gloria tied at 56 with 1’20 left.

The Uruguayan all-rounder scored a double and added to two free throws from Saiz, the Alta Córdoba team won the third episode 60-56.

Instituto strengthened itself, as in great duels, in important events, while Boca fought with the return of Vildoza, out in the final minutes of the third quarter due to a blow.

Victoriano’s team was clear about what to do, even when Pomoli, their best perimeter defender, left the court due to the foul limit. And in a hot closing due to a cross between Vildoza xeneize and Cosolito, Instituto took the victory.
