Eintracht Frankfurt has made it clear where Markus Krösche will stay: The sports director has extended his working paper for the long term.

Markus Krösche is committed to unity: The sports director has extended his contract with Frankfurt until 2028. Supervisory board boss Philip Holzer announced this on Tuesday.

Krösche has been working for Eintracht since 2021. His contract originally ran until 2025. His term of office included the record transfer of star striker Randal Kolo Muani to Paris for 95 million euros.

Holzer praises Krösche as an “important part of Eintracht”

“Markus Krösche has become a very important part of Eintracht and has made a significant contribution to why we have been so successful in recent years,” said Holzer. “By extending his contract, we are relying on the important continuity that we value and want to continue in all committees.”

“The past three years have been characterized by a very trusting collaboration,” said Krösche. “I consider it a privilege to be able to work for Eintracht and would like to do my part with my team to ensure that the positive development can continue in the coming years.”
