“I saw this sign, it was funny, but I tried to stay serious, it was during a downtime,” confides Wemby. I’ve seen the love from the fans grow throughout the season, even though it was already huge when I first got here. The relationship between the Spurs and the city is crazy. What we love most about all of this, the fans and I, is realizing that this is all true, that it’s really happening, and that we have the potential to become very good. We are very lucky to experience this, us and the fans. And I hope it’s as amazing as it can be. »
