Huracán Takes the Title in Ciudad Tres Arroyos Anniversary Cup Final

This Friday night and with a large crowd that was present at the Municipal Sports Center, Huracán won against Alumni and took the title of champion of the Ciudad Tres Arroyos Anniversary Cup. The start was not as expected, since we had to wait almost an hour for the game to start because the clock was not working. This match was broadcast by LU 24, with stories by Juan José Erramuspe and comments by Armando Ruiz.

Damián Beitía’s team won through play, concentration and desire. Furthermore, from the ball in the air he was superior to those of Denis Casalino. In the first 10 minutes it was difficult for both teams to get into the game, but Albo finished the first set with the result in favor of 15 to 9.

Meanwhile, Alumni did not have a good night, both defensively and in attack, since they could not break the Globo defense nor did they manage to gain strength with the external goal. At the end of the second quarter, everything would end 42 to 27 in favor of those from Beitía.

For their part, in the second half, the first minutes were for the Orense team, who came out with more attitude, found the goal and knew how to control the champion’s attacks in defense. However, the last quarter was all for those in white, who thanks to this and a good level of play, their coach brought in the majority of the substitutes’ bench.
