Comment from Hideki Higashi, Head of Strengthening Division Despite the support we received from many people, this season had disappointing results. I take full responsibility for my demotion, and I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize to all the boosters, supporters, and sponsors.
As GM, I have been involved in the team based on my experience with other teams, and I believe that one of the reasons for our defeat was that we were not able to recruit enough players that the head coach wanted.
I am confident that, based on what they learned from this season, the club will put together a new system and revive the team. Thank you very much for your help these past two years. We sincerely pray for the revival of the traditional Niigata Albirex BB.
