Just for your information: Racing Club de Avellaneda is currently fifth in the table. That doesn’t sound all that exciting at first, but the championship is still there, and that’s all the more remarkable because championships in racing were an impossibility for many years. The club from Buenos Aires won the title a whopping 15 times by 1966, which then brought the fans of local rivals Independiente to the scene. They broke into the racing stadium, buried seven dead cats on the grounds and cursed racing so that they would never become champions again. And lo and behold: Racing no longer became champions.
