Guignen Judo Club Celebrates Success at Departmental and Regional Championships

Tuesday, within the Guignen club, the judokas honored their peers who had fought in several championships over the last weekend.

Their teacher, Benoît Dinel, is delighted with this great harvest: It is truly a source of pride for the entire club to see these returns from championships so rich in medals at the departmental and regional level. This weekend took place in Bain-de-Bretagne, the departmental final for juniors and the Brittany championship for cadets.

Among the cadets, Alyssa Pinel Feréol and Julie Attimon are regional champions in their weight categories and selected for the French championships in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme). Élouan Boittin is vice-champion of Brittany.

Pierre Chollet and Sarah Moison are replacements thanks to their results in 5th place. Among the Benjamins, Léonie Dinel is departmental champion. Khalis Latrèche and Laouen Rolland obtained a bronze medal. These three judokas are qualified for the Brittany championship.

Several other judokas won good places even if they did not result in a medal, thus showing the club’s determination to always want to progress.
