Gravelines takes an option to remain in Betclic Élite

Gravelines is on the right track. Winner in Dunkirk (82-67) on Saturday over a direct rival, Roanne, in the fight for survival in Betclic Elite, the BCM now has a victory ahead of the Chorale and has the tie-break in the event of a tie final.

The Northerners have indeed confirmed their first leg victory (78-69). They were merciless in the last quarter passing a 21-8 which drained the Roanne attack, held to less than 70 points and 36% success, like Sekou Doumbouya (17 points but 5 on 15 on shots). Roanne made the very bad operation of the day since ADA Blois, surprise winner in Cholet (80-71), came back with a victory.

Nanterre, sovereign in Chalon-sur-Saône (97-89), strengthened its fifth place with 43 points from the back tandem Justin Bibbins (25) and Benjamin Sène (18) and the all-terrain contribution of Joël Ayayi (10 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists).

Nicolas Lang and Alexandre Chassang carry Limoges

After two away setbacks, Limoges won at Beaublanc (102-99) against Nancy thanks to great outside skill (12 out of 24) and its two French leaders, Nicolas Lang (23 points) and Alexandre Chassang ( 17 points, 10 rebounds).

Despite Antony Labanca (26 points), SLUC fell a notch in the standings with a view to the top 8 qualifying for the play-offs while Le Mans, winner of the condemned Boulogne-Levallois after an attacking match (110-96) , keeps the flame alive while awaiting the results from Saint-Quentin – Dijon on Saturday evening and from Bourg-Strasbourg on Sunday.
