It’s time for friendly matches at the Serravalle stadium. The complete team will play a double home test on Saturday with Godo over 7 innings, with playball for the first match at 2.30pm and with one of the new arrivals waiting to be seen.
Marcos Diaz arrived in San Marino this year after wearing the jerseys of Padule (2018), Lancers (2021) and Big Mat Grosseto (2022 and 2023) and tells us what the atmosphere is like at this time of year: “Everything is fine , the air is the crisp one typical of the period. The championship starts this month and you can feel it. The team is complete and the atmosphere of the opening game is starting to be felt, even if it’s still early.”
Double test with Godo, what do you expect from these matches?
“These are useful moments to get into shape and above all to get the timing of everything. It’s important to find the right chemistry with your teammates and these tests are perfect for being on the pitch and understanding each other, identifying the right mechanisms.”
What do you think of the team?
“Good. I know several guys, especially from having met them during the past seasons as an opponent. These are important weeks, but I can’t wait for it to begin”
And what do you expect from the championship?
“I’m not talking about the team market, but I think the favorites can be considered a bit the same as always. Let’s see, then we’ll check it on the diamond”
What is the most important thing for you?
“I want to enjoy this experience in San Marino to the fullest, perhaps bringing home something important at the end of the season.”
