German Judoka Bring Home Bronze from European Junior Cup in Poznan, Poland

Parallel to the European Cadet Cup in Berlin, a European Junior Cup also took place in Poznan, Poland, at the weekend. National coach Frank Möller traveled to Poland with a small team of four athletes. The result was a bronze medal and seventh place.
Jannis Baschin (SF Kladow) won a bronze medal in the 100kg. It is the first medal in a European Cup for Jannis. In doing so, he confirmed his previous good performances at the German u21 Championships and the international Bremen Masters.
Elija Ruben Markt (SC Bushido) was on the mat six times in the class up to 81 kg in Poznan and took seventh place. Unfortunately he got injured. We wish him all the best and a speedy recovery from here too.

Abdusamad Abdullaev (BC Randori) up to 73 kg was eliminated after three fights. In the same class, Hasokumake lost his first fight for diving.

Congratulations to the medal winner, place winner and responsible coach.
