From Immigrant Parents to Fiat Executives: The Journey of Sergio Censon

Sergio Censon was born on 20 May 1916 in Turin, to Venetian parents (from Schio, in the province of Vicenza) who immigrated to Piedmont in search of a better life. The father was called Giacomo and the mother Maria Arduin: in addition to Sergio, they had two other sons, Alessandro, known as Adriano (born in 1923 and passed away in 2007) and Giuseppe (born in 1911 and passed away in 2001), who were then both Fiat executives; in Turin the family lived, like many immigrants at the time, in the Barriera neighborhood of Milan, still managing to have all their children study, who then went on to have brilliant professional careers.
