French Judo Federation Champions Inspire Young Judokas in Montauban

The tour of the itinerary of the champions of the French Judo Federation made a stop in Montauban. This national event is a sporting and civic tour which has 24 stages, including the town of Montauban. Among the 600 judokas, 7 young licensees from the Nègrepelissien club had the chance to meet the mascot Komodo, as well as 6 champions who accompanied him during this Tour de France! Cathy Arnaud, Olympic medalist and two-time world champion; Céline Lebrun, silver at the Olympic Games and world team champion; Estelle Gaspard, four-time jujitsu world champion; Alexandre Iddir, Olympic team champion at the Tokyo Games; Guillaume Chaine, world team champion in Tokyo, and Guy Delvingt, bronze medalist at the European Championship.

The Negrepelis judokas had the pleasure of treading the carpet installed for this occasion at the Jacques-Chirac space in Montauban and meeting these champions. They benefited from advice from these highest level athletes and took advantage of the planned activities.

What satisfaction, to see the eyes of young and old studded with stars.
