Former NFL star Terrell Suggs has been arrested in Arizona, accoridng to TMZ Sports.
The jail records have shown that the seven-time pro bowler was arrested on late Tuesday night in Maricopa County on two different charges, one count of assault and one count of offense against public order.
A spokesperson for the jail has spoken to TMZ and says that Suggs has since been released. He played his college football at Arizona State University.
Suggs had an excellent NFL career
There are thought to be more details about the two-time Super Bowl champion that have not been made public yet but may in the near future.
For the majority of Suggs’ career he was at the Baltimore Ravensactive in the NFL between 2003 and 2019.
He had an incredibly successful NFL career during his 17 seasons, logging 139 sacks, seven interceptions, and 895 total tackles. He also earned Defensive Player of the Year honors once, as well as one All-Pro selection.
He most recently played for the Kansas City Chiefs where he won the Super Bowl in 2020.
