Former Baltimore Ravens RB JK Dobbins to Sign with Los Angeles Chargers: Reuniting with Greg Roman

Former Baltimore Ravens running back JK Dobbins will sign a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers, LAA Sports, which represents him, has revealed.

Dobbins’ arrival in LA will allow him to reconnect with Greg Roman, his former offensive coordinator in Baltimore, as well as his former teammate Gus Edwards.

Dobbins is one of the most explosive players at his position in the NFL, but he still has numerous health issues over the past three years.

He has also missed 42 of the Ravens’ last 51 games, including the last 16 of the 2023 campaign due to a torn Achilles tendon.

Dobbins, 25, averaged 5.8 yards per carry during his career, the highest total by a running back with at least 200 carries since 2020.

Dobbins has produced 15.4% of carries over 10 yards over the last four seasons, just behind Nick Chubb (17.1%) and Jaylen Warren (15.5%).

After setting a record for a Ravens rookie with nine touchdowns in his rookie season, Dobbins suffered a left knee injury during the final preseason game of 2021.

In 2022, he missed nine additional games as he continued to recover from a torn knee ligament.

Dobbins was a second-round pick in the 2020 draft. He played his football in the NCAA with the Ohio State University Buckeyes.
