As the president of the hockey association Alois Hadamczik already indicated, the final event of the Euro Hockey Tour will indeed take place in Brno – from May 2 to 5.
The Czechs will start the home tournament, which will bear a new name Betano Hockey Games, a duel with Finland. They will challenge Sweden and Switzerland at the weekend. Now – in the Enigoo network – the hockey association started selling tickets.
The Czech Games, which will take place in Brno for the second year in a row, are the traditional warm-up for the World Championships. Hockey players from the NHL are also expected to start. Let us remind you that last year Lucas Raymond, Rasmus Sandin, Janis Moser or Karel Vejmelka showed up in the south of Moravia.
The attractiveness is also guaranteed because the national team will fight for the overall victory in the Euro Hockey Tour in front of their fans: they are second in the standings with a four-point loss to the leader Sweden.
Before that, however, the Czechs will play six preliminary matches as part of the Euro Hockey Challenge: they will face Germany, Austria and Slovakia in doubles. The first duel awaits Radim Rulík next Thursday in Karlovy Vary.
