Exciting Additions and Farewells: Højbjerg Badminton Club Prepares for the Next Season

Højbjerg Badminton Club is ready to take the next step in our ambitions with two exciting replacements on our League team for the coming season. With a keen eye for talent and a dedication to constant improvement, the club has secured the next two promising talents for our League team, and at the same time strengthened our 1st division team with a promising name.

Welcome to Mads Juel and Jakob Houe on the League team:

Højbjerg Badminton Club proudly welcomes Mads Juel Møller and Jakob Houe Andersen, two talented young players who will in future be part of the club’s League team. These two dynamic players bring an exciting mix of youthful energy and impressive skills to the squad and their presence is expected to stabilize the club’s position in the coming season. With their potential and dedication to the sport, they represent a promising future for Højbjerg Badminton Club. In addition, we will now once again have a League team, where all five men have grown up in the club since they were very, very young.

Mads Emil Monke strengthens the 1st Division

We are also happy to welcome Mads Emil Monke. He arrives from Ikast (originally from Herning) to reinforce our 1st division team. Mads Emil Monke is another young talent that we look forward to welcoming to Højbjerg. His joining the club is a sign of Højbjerg Badminton Club’s ability to attract and retain talented players. It is expected that next season Mads Emil Monke and Salomon Thomasen will contest the 2 men’s singles places in the 1st Division.

Farewell to Ygor Coelho

At the same time, Højbjerg Badminton Club says goodbye to Ygor Coelho and wishes him good luck in the future. Ygor Coelho has been a valued part of the club and his contribution will be remembered and appreciated. The club thanks him for his commitment and wishes him the best in his future challenges. Ygor Coelho has been a permanent part of our training environment and a fantastic ambassador for Højbjerg Badminton Club. He is and has always been a huge pleasure for all our home fans to watch, as he is a Brazilian and shows his emotions completely outside his clothes.

Farewell to Calvin LK and Mike Vestergaard

We also say goodbye to Calvin LK (Danish Champion in U19 MxD and Silver winner in HD) and Mike Vestergaard (Double bronze winner for U19 in MxD and HD) They both need to continue in their ambitions to develop as skilled badminton players and are now looking against Zealand, where there are several other talented doubles players they can train with. We wish them the best of luck on the road. Højbjerg is still with them, and who knows? Maybe our paths will meet again one day?
