Empowering Women in Politics: A Call to Action for a Brighter Future

More women in politics, more freedom and common sense in shared choices.
We cannot leave the city’s future to men alone, we women must
be more present responsibly, running alongside them to bring our voice
within the municipal assembly. In recent years, many steps forward have been made in terms of
gender equality also in politics, but it is not enough to write new rules if it does not germinate
within each of us the awareness of being indispensable in vital choices for the city.
We must be more convinced in presenting ourselves to others with our candidacy in hand and not
be afraid to ask for support, there are no important roles just for men, we are
essential and for this reason we must assert ourselves, putting ourselves on the same level to achieve
common objectives, our city also needs the vision of a feminine horizon and
we must not be afraid to say it, we need more women, as well as in the family
the administration must be managed in the same way where everyone adds their contribution. The things
they no longer work as they did in the past and this can be seen in the underlying suffering
which stagnates in institutional roles, there is a need for a relaunch, even generational, they are missing
young people and this represents the worst symptom of a decay that must be stopped
with a change of pace and direction aimed at rebirth. This term is used a lot,
rebirth, happens after periods of great popular discomfort, due to even extraordinary events
like the pandemic that has turned us upside down in recent times, but it is also spent when
the desire for change towards something better, newer and more authentic is expressed.
With this message we want to stimulate the enthusiasm of all those women who would like to
participate in political life and do not do so because they are intimidated or held back by a legacy that must
be overcome; so, let’s go out and run forward because we are needed, the story lo
he asks. Wishing us an active and numerous participation of all those who feel the duty
of service towards public affairs so that it can be administered in a new and more efficient way
shared, we hope that there will be many women who are proud to fight alongside men
for the common rights of citizenship.
