Elisabetta Mijno and Team Italy Gear Up for Archery World Cup in Shanghai

Elisabetta Mijno will also be there in Shanghai for the Archery World Cup. It is the fourteenth time in history that the competition arrives in the Chinese location, in a competition that sees 332 archers competing on the shooting line arriving from 46 different countries. As for some years now, there are already four places up for grabs for the finals to which all the winners of the individual competitions will access.

Mijno, as mentioned, is once again participating in an event for non-disabled athletes. The Piedmontese athlete, bearer of the Arcieri delle Alpi, is part of the Olympic arch team made up of Matteo Bilisari (Maremmana Arcieri) Matteo Borsani (Arcieri Del Roccolo), Michele Frangilli (Aeronautica Militare), Massimiliano Mandia (Fiamme Azzurre), Roberta Di Francesco (Arcieri Abruzzesi), Vanessa Landi (Aeronautica Militare) and Aiko Rolando (Fiamme Oro).

There will be six compound archers who have prepared for the trip with a double evaluation competition in recent weeks. The choice fell on Marco Bruno (Fiamme Azzurre), Michea Godano (Arcieri Tigullio), Jesse Sut (Kosmos Rovereto), Irene Franchini (Fiamme Azzurre), Elisa Roner (Fiamme Gialle) and Marcella Tonioli (Arcieri Montalcino). The reserves at home are Leonardo Costantino (Arcieri delle Alpi) and Francesca Aloisi (Arcieri Iuvenilia). The staff that will follow the archers in China will be composed of the head of the delegation Sante Spigarelli, the Technical Director of the Olympic arch Giorgio Botto, the technician of Olympic athlete Natalia Valeeva and the Technical Director of the compound Flavio Valesella.
