Ponzano Veneto. The successes continue for Sharin Judo, which in the Venetian stage of the Trofeo Italia (national trophy reserved for the rookie categories, which sees the best Italian athletes competing), finds an excellent bronze with Elia Vitale in the 50 kg category.
Elia seems to have taken a liking to it, given that we are now at the fifth consecutive race in which he finds himself on the podium. A race which, after a small misstep which cost him the gold, sees Elia engaged in an amazing comeback which will lead him to win the final for third place.
An uphill race that the talented Elia climbed with determination, finishing all the matches before the maximum time.
A somewhat unlucky race however for Sofia Trecarichi and Luca Ghigo who, despite a good performance, remain close to the podium.
The technicians Mirco Mirengo and Andrea Carlevarino see excellent potential in these athletes who will have the Italian category championships as their next objective. President Igor Piperis, as always, declares himself enthusiastic about this movement which is becoming more and more competitive on all fronts: “In the gym we have excellent athletes of all categories, Sharin Judo manages to be competitive from pre-competitive categories up to more mature than the Juniors and Seniors. This means that the technicians in the dojo are doing an excellent job. This latest success confirms Sharin Judo as the cornerstone of Ligurian and national judo”.
