The Eisbären Regensburg started the final series of the DEL2 playoffs against the Kassel Huskies in the evening. Regensburg lost the game 1:2 against the hosts. The Huskies’ 1-0 lead in the 51st minute was equalized by the Eisbären in a power-number situation with 1 minute to go. The 2-1 winning goal for Kassel came in the first minute of extra time. Game 2 of the “Best of Seven” series follows tomorrow at 5 p.m. in the Regensburg Donauarena.
