The festivities started on the schoolyard of De Branding Primary School, where dance/gym teacher Saskia and the dance theater festively opened the day with an exciting dance to the song “Daba Die Daba Daa” by Children for Children, specially released for this occasion. All students then went in a cheerful procession to the sports hall on Watertorenweg, where an extensive range of activities awaited them.
Games
In groups of eight, the children took part in various fun and active games, including Belgian football, badminton, a freerun relay, twister, bottle football, chaos goal game and of course the royal game of Kings! The bright sun, the cheerful faces and the sporty atmosphere made the day an unforgettable event for everyone involved.
Very successful
The children returned home with a smile on their faces after a day full of fun and sportsmanship, knowing that the first joint King’s Games in Egmond aan Zee were an undisputed success. The organization: ”The sun was shining, beautiful weather, happy faces and a sporty, fun day for all. All in all very successful!”
