The badminton duo Robin Tabing/Selena Piek has secured participation in the Paris Olympic Games this summer. The Dutch couple reached the semi-finals of the mixed doubles at the European Championships on Thursday and due to the loss of the competition at the Asian Championships, Tabing and Piek can no longer be traced in the qualifying rankings.
“The Badminton World Federation (BWF) will publish the final rankings for the Olympic Games in Paris on April 30, but the Dutch duo, currently twelfth in the rankings, can no longer be traced,” said the Dutch badminton association.
Tabling and Piek participated together in the Tokyo Games in 2021. Piek was also present at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro, then with other partners.
