Dortmund-PSG: bookmakers see Paris winning with Mbappé scoring

This is certainly the least balanced double confrontation of the two semi-finals of this Champions League. On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain challenges Borussia Dortmund at Signal-Iduna Park to hope to offer themselves a second Champions League final after that of 2020. While Luis Enrique’s men did not do better than a match draw in Dortmund in the group stage, the sports betting sites nevertheless see them winning tomorrow evening.

Most of these sites offer odds of 2.35 on average for a Parisian victory, compared to 3.80 for a draw and 2.75 for a victory for the Yellows and Blacks in front of their home crowd. On Parions Sport, PSG’s victory is at 2.40 as on Winamax, against 2.31 on Betclic. And logically, the bookmakers are predicting PSG qualifying for the final at the expense of Dortmund (1.36 on average for Paris compared to 3.00 for Borussia). Odds which will certainly evolve depending on the result of the first leg.

Mbappé called to play the big roles

Concerning the match in Dortmund, Kylian Mbappé is the player most expected to score a goal. The odds of a “Kyk’s” scorer start at 1.90 on Winamax, the same on Betclic and 1.85 on Parions Sport. Behind, the second most likely scorer is also Parisian. This is Gonçalo Ramos with an average rating of 2.90, very close to that of Niklas Füllkrug, scorer in the return against Atlético Madrid in the quarter-final.

Winamax also offers betting on the players who will be “decisive” on Wednesday, that is to say who will score or deliver an assist. Here again, Mbappé is in the lead with odds of 1.50 ahead of Niklas Füllkrug (2.00), Gonçalo Ramos (2.20), Ousmane Dembélé (2.30) and Julian Brandt, tied with Randal Kolo Muani (2.40).

Dortmund therefore does not leave with the favors of the betting sites. Even more complicated for the German club, the bookmakers do not see them winning the Champions League this year.
