Detroit Lions Agree to Record-Breaking Contract Extension with Amon-Ra St. Brown

The Detroit Lions and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown have agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension worth $120 million, of which $77 million is guaranteed, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The deal makes him the highest-paid receiver in the NFL.

The 24-year-old is coming off an excellent season, catching 119 passes for 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns in his third year with Detroit. St. Brown was invited to the Pro Bowl the previous season, throwing for 1,161 yards and six touchdowns.

The Californian was selected in the fourth round (112th overall) by the Lions in the 2021 draft.

In three seasons in the NFL, he made 315 catches for 3,588 yards and 21 touchdowns.
