Deaf Badminton Player Visits Pré-Vert School as Part of Olympic Games Project

As part of the project of the year on the theme of the Olympic Games, the students of the Pré-Vert school and their teachers welcomed Louise Bernard, Thursday April 11, 2024. The latter is a deaf badminton player, medalist at multiple times in national championships and during the Deaflympics (an international multi-sport competition). The sportswoman came with Anthony Bernard, the coach of the Argenton club who also supports the French deaf badminton team.

The two speakers answered the children’s questions about their activity. The students were then able to do some steering wheel exchanges with them.

Valentin Crochet-Moulin, educator at the Argenton badminton club, is at the origin of this special moment. He intervenes at school to introduce badminton in different aspects, such as the valid game or disabled sport.
