David Darricarrère (Castres) will join the Brive staff

As announced two weeks ago, David Darricarrère (53 years old) will not stay in Castres, where he is at the end of his contract, and will join the staff of Brive this summer, currently 8th in Pro D2.

The CAB made the news official this Thursday. David Darricarrère signed a two-year contract in Corrèze, as three-quarter coach, in a framework led by Pierre-Henry Broncan, the two men having already worked together at Castres (2020-2023). “I am obviously very happy with the arrival of David on the staff. I know his working methods, his rigor and his vision of rugby well,” rejoiced the Brive manager.

Passed through La Rochelle and Biarritz

Passed by the staff of La Rochelle (2007-2011), Dax (2011-2012), Agen (2012-2013), Biarritz (2015-2017), the French under-20 team (2018-2019) and Mont-de-Marsan (2019-2020), David Darricarrère set down his bags in Castres four years ago, notably participating in the epic journey to the Top 14 final in 2022, lost to Montpellier.
