Dates set for Champions League semi-finals between Dortmund and PSG

The dates of the two Champions League semi-finals Dortmund/PSG and PSG/Dortmund have been set: the first leg will be played on May 1 in Dortmund, the return on May 7 in Paris.

A few hours after the end of the Champions League quarter-finals, we now know the dates of all the semi-final matches. The Dortmund/PSG first leg will be played next Wednesday, May 1 at Signal Iduna Park and the PSG/Dortmund return will take place at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday, May 7. PSG is therefore part of the two semi-finals which will be played just six days apart.

The other Bayern Munich/Real Madrid semi-final will be played on Tuesday April 30 and the return on Wednesday May 8, therefore over eight days. This distribution rather suits the business of PSG which has a large lead in the championship while Borussia Dortmund is still in the race for its final place and will therefore be able to rotate its squad less.

Before going to Dortmund for the first leg, PSG is supposed to host Le Havre at Parc on Saturday April 27, therefore four days before the match, while PSG will travel to Nice between the two matches, in theory on Saturday 4 May but there is talk of a possible postponement. For its part, Borussia has a very big trip to Leipzig planned for April 27, therefore before the first leg, then the easy reception of Augsburg on April 30, between the two matches.

PSG schedule:

  • PSG/Le Havre on Saturday April 27 at 9 p.m. (to be confirmed)
  • Dortmund/PSG on Wednesday May 1 at 9 p.m.
  • Nice/PSG on Saturday May 4 at 9 p.m. (to be confirmed)
  • PSG/Dortmund on Tuesday May 7 at 9 p.m.
