Damián Jajarabilla Shines at South American Archery Championship, Secures Silver Medal

Mar del Plata archery once again has its greatest exponent at the top of the continent. Damián Jajarabilla performed an outstanding performance in the South American Championship of the specialty that was carried out in the Brazilian town of Maricá.

In the two modalities in which he participated he finished on top of the podium. In the team competition of their specialty, Recurve Bow, achieved second place along with Alma Pueyo López, only 17 years old, as a partner.

Beyond falling in the South American final, they managed to compete with the continental powers, but also Jajarabilla in the qualy instance achieved the Argentine Record for the Recurve Bow with a score of 668.

There he faced the Colombian Jorge Enríquez with whom he lost 7-3 and, in this way, he won his second silver medal in the competition.
