(Guayaquil, April 14).- The Ecuadorian Judo Federation (FEJ) is experiencing moments of extreme tension. Initially in what happened last March, after the amounts owed to the athletes that were managed to be resolved, however today, there is an obstacle in their facilities, located next to the Alberto Spencer Model Stadium in the city of Guayaquil.

«This place was built as a reward for the results that, at the time, many athletes obtained. For the growth that judo had as a sport. “Every brick, every piece that was built here, was the effort of many athletes.”
«I went to Azogues, to a municipal shelter, I bathed with ice water, I washed my clothes with cold water, we took my athletes, my teammates, they were all minors, I was always the oldest, everyone’s mother. I had to cook, breakfast, lunch and snack for each of my colleagues and even so we grew so much, we gave so many good results that it was decided to build this. “It was the result of that growth, the reward for everything we resisted, that was built.”
«I have been an Olympian since day #1 I started playing sports. “Those values that I defended, that I have fought and defended all my life, want to leave me homeless.”
«These Olympic values are saving us, making a difference. “We are going to throw the athletes out onto the streets, as if they were in an x invasion, they were nobody, we are protected by the Olympic value, we are not thinking about the athletes.” He concluded.
