Colombia is getting closer to the goal of taking 80 athletes to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games: Santiago Arcila, Jorge Enríquez and Andrés Hernández qualified in the team archery category by becoming champions of the Pan American Archery Qualifier that took place in Medellín.

In the Pan American Archery -Continental Americas Archery Qualifier-, the Colombian men’s team made up of Santiago Arcila, Jorge Enríquez and Andrés Hernández took advantage of their home field and took first place in the tournament, like with the quota, after coming back against Canada in the final after losing 4 – 0. Arcila had already gotten his place for the individual competition, but Enríquez and Hernández became the 47th and 48th athletes from Colombia in the Olympics.
