Coby White Leads Chicago Bulls to Victory Over Atlanta Hawks with Career-High Performance

Allo United Center i Chicago Bulls they defeat the Atlanta Hawks with the final result of 131-116 and will face the Miami Heat on the Italian night between Friday 19th and Saturday 20th to win the NBA Playoffs.

The hero of the evening is without a doubt Coby White who scored his personal career-high with 42 points to which he also added 9 rebounds and 6 assists with an amazing 15/21 shooting. His 42 points represent the second best performance in terms of points scored in the history, albeit short, of the NBA Play-Ins after the 50 recorded by Tatum in 2021 (in game 7 against the Sixers). Post-match the Goldsboro native commented on his performance:

“I’m just grateful to be where I am. The first playoff series I ever played in my career didn’t go the way I wanted. And then last year, I played better in the Play-In but this year I didn’t go into the game saying I was going to put the team on my shoulders. I just wanted to be aggressive, take the shots the defense gave me and try to lead the team.”

White was supported perfectly by the double double of 24 points and 12 rebounds Nikola Vucevicthe 22nd with 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 10/19 shooting DeMar DeRozan and the 19 of Ayo Dosunmu.

Garlic Atlanta Hawks 30 points are not enough to avoid defeat Dejounte Murray and the double-doubles with 22 points each Clint Capela (which adds 17 rebounds) e Trae Young (10 assist).

And it is the latter who appears before the media to comment on the match and the entire season of his Hawks:

“The result? At the beginning of the season, we didn’t expect to be in this situation. Obviously the injuries made life difficult for us. But we were always able to achieve our goal and give ourselves a chance. But we didn’t do the right thing. They attacked well, Coby [White] continued to attack us, Vučević played very well. Everyone played very well.”
