Club Brugge seems to be peaking just in time. With a third win in a row, it puts increasing pressure on leaders Anderlecht and Union. “We really like to make the opponents nervous,” Nicky Hayen once smiled.
There was some concern in advance about the appointment of Nicky Hayen, but the interim coach is doing well with Club Brugge so far.

“We must not forget his work,” the coach underlined. “Without his points, we wouldn’t have been here. And not everything was bad, right? There were many good things that we built on. Other things – such as clarity, for example – we introduced. The players started working on that. .”
“You also see that our first win gave everyone a boost. The second one gave us confidence. And before you know it, the entire stadium is ablaze. That may become an important factor in the future.”
