Christopher Olivier is considered a promising talent in the ranks of VfB Stuttgart. Recently, FC Red Bull Salzburg is said to have shown increased interest in a transfer for the 18-year-old.
The midfield man remains in Stuttgart. As he announced on Instagram, he signed his first professional contract there.
“A new chapter begins: The ink is dry! I am grateful and proud to have signed my first professional contract,” writes the Vorarlberg native with South African roots.
According to his father, Ralf Rangnick is said to have advocated a move to Salzburg. School reasons, among other things, spoke against it (read here >>>).
Olivier is part of the Austrian U19 national team for which he has made three appearances so far. He currently plays for the U19s at Stuttgart.
