Charbuy. An interclub tournament. The Charbuy municipal gymnasium hosted an interclub badminton tournament on Saturday. Bringing together twenty free mixed doubles from Monéteau, Venoy, Courson-les-Carrières, Gurgy, Flogny-la-Chapelle, Brienon-sur-Armançon, Seignelay and Charbuy, the players, divided into four groups, played more than sixty matches on the daytime.
The key word of this day was, in addition to sharing their passion for badminton, to find themselves in a sporty and friendly atmosphere.
The Charbuy badminton club, chaired by Dominique Maison since 2021, has a membership of eighty-five members who practice only for leisure. They meet at the municipal gymnasium on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 10 p.m. and on Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m. Children participate in sessions on Wednesdays from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m.
