The Sant Jordi Judo Club has experienced a weekend with emotions running high on the occasion of the naming of the Can Burgos pavilion under the name of Teo Blázquez and the celebration of its annual ‘stage’. Juan Francisco Blázquez Mayans, son of the much-missed teacher and president of the ‘jordier’ ​​club, took advantage of the occasion to thank “the love” he has received from Ibizan society and media such as Diario de Ibiza in the treatment of information related to Teo Blázquez, and to highlight the success of the events that have been taking place since last Friday.

«We inaugurated the ‘stage’ on Friday with the emotional ceremony of renaming the facility. We want to publicly thank the attending institutional personalities as well as the town residents and club family who attended and showed their love and respect for Teo’s figure,” explains Juan Francisco.

The ‘stage’, he adds, “has been a success in participation” by the club’s athletes, who have taken advantage of the training sessions given by teachers David Ramírez, Javier Ramírez and Daniel Pions; as well as the athletes from the Madrid Federation’s technical training center who have participated: Aharón Santamaría, Adriana Sáez, Rocio Arcones, Izan Prado and Roman Amaro.

“From the club we want to give you the best tools so that our sport continues to grow and that our athletes become better judokas and people every day, as our teacher Teo always taught us,” says his son, proud of having been able to count on important teachers in Ibiza. of this martial discipline.
