Caitlin Clarke Makes History as First Overall Pick in WNBA Draft

Not surprisingly, women’s basketball sensation Caitlin Clarke was selected first overall by the Indiana Fever in the WNBA draft Monday night in New York.

Clarke is considered the greatest player in the history of women’s collegiate basketball in the United States.

With the University of Iowa, she made a splash, averaging 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game. However, she never managed to win the national championship, March Madness, losing in the final in 2023 and 2024.

Clark should wear the jersey of his new team very soon, since the Fever begins its preparatory schedule on May 3.
