The new star of US women’s basketball has just finished her university career with the Iowa Hawkeyes. She is known for her long-range shots and her numerous exploits in the NCAA, where she became the best scorer in history, girls and boys combined, with 3,771 points scored.

An unfortunate finalist in the NCAA final eight days ago, with the Iowa Hawkeyes against the South Carolina Gamecocks, Clark saw his matches, particularly during “March Madness”, record crazy audiences. France well represented

Behind Caitlin Clark, the Los Angeles Sparks selected Cameron Brink (Stanford) and the Chicago Sky turned to Kamilla Cardoso (South Carolina). The top 10 is also completed by two French women. Carla Leite was chosen by the Dallas Wings in ninth position after her good season with Tarbes. The leader finished the season as the sixth best scorer and fourth best passer in the French Championship.

Just behind her, at the tenth choice, the Connecticut Sun selected her compatriot Leïla Lacan. Aged 19, the Ruthénoise plays under the colors of Angers.
