Among the scheduled activities, on Friday the 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the CajaAlmendralejo Assembly Hall, the conference “Conflicts, strategies and men-at-arms in late medieval Extremadura” will take place. “War in the 14th and 15th centuries” by Carlos Casillas, doctor in History from the Uex. The next day, in the Teodoro Casado pavilion, activities will begin at 10:00. There will be long sword and gladiator seminars, as well as assaults and free combat. The great novelty of this edition is the celebration of the I Conquerors of Ancient Fencing Tournament in the rapier and long sword modalities. Likewise, to bring this sport closer to all the curious who come to the pavilion that same morning, there will be free long sword initiation workshops at 12:00 and 18:00.
