Bronze Medal Success for Manju Oberle at European Ju-Jutsu Championships in Romania

Pitesti/Erbach. The European Ju-Jutsu Championships were recently held in Pitești (Romania). Among the more than 1,000 participants there were five from Erbach who were able to bring a medal back to the Odenwald with their good performances. A downer: several fighters were injured in the fights.

Manju Oberle, who won the U18 European Championship title last year, was able to secure a bronze medal.

She confidently won her first two fights against a Greek and a Slovenian with technical superiority. In the semifinals, Oberle faced a Ju-Jutsuka from Sweden.

In the last seconds the result tipped against Manju and she lost 15:12.

In the fight for third place, Oberle narrowly won the fight against a Greek woman 9:8 and then received the bronze medal. red
