The 16-time Turkish champions Besiktas Istanbul parted ways with coach Fernando Santos on Saturday. Besiktas have not won in five games and are fourth in the table, 36 points behind leaders Galatasaray and 34 behind Fenerbahce.
The 69-year-old Portuguese Santos, who led his home country to the European Championship title in 2016, only took over the team in January.
