BCL 29 Hosts First Doubles Tournament: Tournament of Legends

In Ploudalmézeau, Badminton de la Côte des Légendes (BCL 29) organized its first doubles tournament entitled tournament of legends, on Sunday April 7, 2024, at the Coum sports hall, in Portsall. 78 bad players were present from around fifteen clubs in the Brest region. 104 matches were played on the day. “We wanted fairness between all the players, thus offering them the same number of matches, whether they win or lose,” underlined Marine Renault-Quéré, secretary of the Ploudalmézien club.

The premises in good shape

Eight BCL 29 teams finished on the podium, with two victories for Ronan Tillenon, in mixed doubles alongside Fabienne Bonde and in men’s doubles with Franck Lenen. Lénaïg Bijard won in the ladies’ doubles and Sabine Le He, Marine Renault, Noa Ronvel and Antoine Bijard finished finalists.

The rewards came from the Binette and botanical solidarity greenhouses in Ploudalmézeau and the Ty room workshop in Aber-Wrac’h.

To note

The club is organizing the eighth stage of the departmental youth circuit, Saturday April 13 and Sunday April 14, in Portsall, in the presence of 32 players, including 14 from BCL 29.
