Westland 15.04.2024 – Last Saturday, April 13, badminton club BC Mix organized the school tournament. There were almost 70 participants, from different schools.
Most participants came from De Bernadette from Naaldwijk, but De Wegwijzer, De Driekleur and the PWA from ‘s-Gravenzande had also sent a delegation. De Vlieten and the Koningin Julianaschool from De Lier had also put together teams.
After a short warm-up, the games started. In between there were always games to play with a racket and a shuttle. We fought hard, but above all we played very sporty. In the end, the Smash Boys of the Bernadette walked away with the cup for group 3/4. The winners in group 5/6 also came from the Bernadette: Team croquette is going like a rocket! And finally, the first prize for group 7/8 went to the Smashing Boys of the PWA.
All in all, a successful morning with many enthusiastic participants! Names of the team members: Smash Boys – Thijs, Jan, Eden, Brent and Raf Team croquette – Nout, Daan, Wes and Milan Smashing Boys – Ayden, Floris and Lieke.
