Bayern Munich Eyeing Dani Olmo as New Playmaker: Transfer Rumors Swirl

FC Bayern could equip the offensive department with a new playmaker next summer.

As the Spanish “Mundo Deportivo” reports, the German record champions are said to be interested in Dani Olmo from league rivals RB Leipzig.

Accordingly, a €60 million exit clause is said to be anchored in the midfielder’s contract. Olmo is one of the most gifted players in the Bundesliga, but has struggled with numerous injuries in the past.

So far this season, the 25-year-old Spaniard has scored eight goals and five assists (23 appearances).

Meanwhile, the coming summer could be a busy one for Bayern. According to various media reports, the future of the two wingers Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry is still uncertain.

Likewise, there is still no clarity regarding a contract extension for Leroy Sane. The left-footer’s contract expires in 2025.
